What reviewers say

Reviewers consistently praise the gym’s friendly staff, well‑equipped machines, convenient location, and useful amenities such as lockers and showers. They also note the attractive décor and the fact that it offers a full range of basic strength and conditioning equipment. Common criticisms are that the space is small and can feel cramped, the temperature is often warm despite air‑conditioning, and the free‑weights area is limited, making it less suitable for high‑intensity or hybrid training.

Quite small and expensive (15€ if you dont have a membership.) The gym has almost all the basic equipment needed and there is airconditioning. The staff was friendly.

Enough equipment for a good holiday weights workout. Mainly machines but has a room with a couple of benches, smith, barbells, trap bar and range of dumbells.

I was looking for a gym for a shortish lower body session while on holiday in Florence, and this happened to be only about 10 minutes from where I was staying. The day pass costs €15 which is a standard price for day passes as far as gyms go. The place is divided into 3 floors: a cardio area on the ground floor; a small functional training area in the basement; and the top floor that has resistance machines, a Pilates room, and a free weights room. Overall, I had a good impression of the gym: ✅ The receptionist on duty was very friendly and welcoming, explaining where the equipment is and some basic points of etiquette as soon as I arrived (and even took an interest when I told him I also work in a gym! 😁) ✅ As you can see from the pictures, the gym is well-equipped, making use of top brands for their equipment. ✅ Other than the equipment, the gym also has very good amenities, with free lockers, showers, a vending machine, etc ✅ I also really liked the decor of the building: other than the fact that the gym is in a historic building (😍), it's decorated with a lot of cool paintings, etc. However, if I had to criticise anything about the gym, it would be: ❌ It's warm inside! While there are AC units and fans, it's not enough to significantly cool the place, so expect a sweaty session! ❌ While I appreciated the sheer variety of equipment available, it ends up making the gym feel cramped, so some workouts are only possible when the gym is quiet. The free weights section is a bit limited too. ❌ I didn't see any gym staff upstairs, so anyone asking for assistance will need to go downstairs to the reception instead. All in all, this is a pretty good gym for your basic strength and conditioning workouts. However, the gym isn't equipped for hybrid training (e.g. HYROX). And make sure to bring a towel with you—you'll need it! 🤣

Small, but efficient. Florence Fitness has every machine I need. Equipment and other small things around the gym are well maintained. Good atmosphere as well—people are open to letting you work into their set.

Grabbed a day pass twice while travelling in Florence. The equipment was fantastic, plenty of technogym pieces. Staff was very helpful. Smaller but perfect if you go in the mornings.

This place is a blessing. I’m training for a HYROX and didn’t want to take too much time off training. I popped in for a lifting session, 15€ drop in. It was hopping and seems like a good community. Check it out if you’re a local or passing through town!
