I was visiting Florence for a few days and wanted to train at this gym for just one day. I was perfectly happy to pay for a day pass, as you can do at virtually every gym around the world. To my surprise, they insisted that I also pay a membership/registration fee. This makes absolutely no sense for someone who is only visiting for a single day. What made the experience even worse was the attitude of the receptionist. She explained the policy in a rude and dismissive way, making me feel very unwelcome. The €16 day pass was perfectly reasonable and in line with other gyms, but adding a €30 registration fee (which she said was “discounted” to €8) for a one-time visitor is simply absurd. Why would anyone pay a registration fee for a gym they will never return to? Because of both the unreasonable policy and the poor customer service, I decided not to enter the gym. It was a very disappointing experience. If you’re visiting Florence and looking for a gym, I would strongly recommend choosing a different one. There are surely places that value visitors and treat potential customers with respect.

Storica palestra fiorentina fondata da Tullio Ricciardi, un precursore dei tempi in questo settore. Con i suoi oltre 1.000 mq di spazi e l'ubicazione in centro città, offre un servizio che poche altre palestre possono offrire. Attualmente condotta dalla figlia del fondatore, la palestra ha mantenuto tutte le sue caratteristiche storiche.
